Rules of Play


 

Course Regulations

The following rules are not unreasonable and the ownership of the Tooth respectfully asks that golfers do their best to adhere to them.  Those found in violation of the rules may be invited to get a refund and leave the premises.  Remember:

GOLF IS A PRIVILEGE, NOT A RIGHT.

1. Remember The 3 R's
- Rake traps
- REPAIR BALL MARKS ON GREENS
- Replace divots
 
2. All carts: Power or Pull must be kept off the tee boxes and not be closer than 30 feet from greens.  Power Carts must remain on the cart paths except in cases of special need due to medical reasons. (Golfers in need of such permission please ask at clubhouse.)
  
 
3. Golfers may look for a missing ball for a total of 3 minutes. 
- All fence lines are considered "Out of Bounds". Climbing on or over any fences is prohibited. 
 
4. Proper Golf Attire is Encouraged.
- Clean, untattered jeans are acceptable.
- Shirts must be worn at all times.
- Halter tops are NOT allowed.
- Tank tops are discouraged.
 
5. Each player must have their own set of clubs.
 
6. Storage Coolers are not allowed.
 
7. Alcohol not purchased from the club will be confiscated and violators removed from the course at their expense.
 
8. Metal or Ceramic spikes NOT ALLOWED. Soft spikes ONLY.

9. Unfortunately the labour shortage affects our ability to find good help.  Therefore, golfers should be aware that the ownership at the tooth will not tolerate abuse of  our clubhouse and grounds staff.


Rules

RULES OF THE CANADIAN GOLF ASSOCIATION GOVERN ALL PLAY, EXCEPT WHERE MODIFIED BY LOCAL RULES.

Local Rules:

1. "OUT OF BOUNDS" 
- All fence lines on this golf course are considered "Out of Bounds". 
- Climbing on or through fences to retrieve balls is prohibited. 
- Violators are trespassing on private property or trespassing into an environmentally protected area. 
- The parking lot, or area by the clubhouse are considered "OUT OF BOUNDS."
 
2. Nine holes of golf is a two hour game. Persons Holding up play must allow faster players to play through.
 
3. Maximum 4 players per group. 
 
4. "All" players to play "Ready Golf".
 
5. One club length relief from all fence lines. No Penalty.
